Washington D.C.

We recently got back from a trip to D.C. We had so much fun! We have friends there that wanted Nick to run the Tough Mudder with him, so what better excuse to go out there. I'm going to take it day by day for this trip because I don't want to overwhelm you. :)

We flew in about 1 a.m. on Friday night so we got to have a full Saturday there. We spent the morning visiting and then that afternoon got on the Metro to the zoo. It was the first time Noah has ever been on a train like that and he was SO excited.

Waiting patiently for the train

We weren't really thinking and got there later in the afternoon, but most of the areas of the zoo were already closed down for their Halloween thing that night. We did some of it though and the kids just like climbing on the statues really anyways. :)

We got there and they took off running

Something really caught their eye

The different expressions of boys and girls are hilarious.

A typical vacation for us. Noah climbing on something while his father is in the background on the phone. We still love him though.

After the zoo we headed back on the train home. The men and B stayed at the house while Analee and I took the older kids to a community Halloween party. The kids got to dress up for this one. The boys were bats which A's mom made and they are so cute! Lily was a dragon which A's mom also made. She is a master at sewing! The dragon was Awesome!!

Our bats flapping away.

Giving me the extreme mean face.

Isn't he adorable!

L and N got there faces painted. Those were some really good face painters!
