Vacations Galore!!

So June was a serious vacation month for us. We didn't travel too far from home but we were hardly here. My siblings, parents, and their families all took a trip to South Padre Island at the beginning of the month. It was tons of fun!! We rented a beach house right on the beach so we spent most of our time relaxing and playing in the sand. The kids really loved all the sand toys that were there. We were overloaded with sand toys. I found a new hobby of boogie boarding and decided to invest in my own. Best time ever!! All of us girls wanted to take surf lessons but the men talked us out of it since the waves aren't so great there. One of the best parts of the trip was getting up really early on Saturday morning and watching the release of new born sea turtles. We had to be there when the sun came up because the turtles are attracted to the light and that's how they find the ocean. It was so awesome!!

Noah and I took a week to rest then headed to Grammie and Pops' house for 5 days. It is always nice to see friends and family that we don't get to see too often. We enjoyed it so much! 

We had a couple of days to recouperate after that trip that Grammie came to be with us for a week. She spent a couple of days here and then the rest of the time at Britni's. Of course we went to Schlitterbahn while she was here. Noah has become quite the little swimmer. I know you think I'm crazy for saying that but I'll tape him and show it to you. He truly does try to swim. It's the cutest thing I have ever seen. We have to drag him out of the pool most of the time.  

Wednesday Janet and Brent came to visit! We are always excited to see them since we don't spend as much time with them. Noah loved being so spoiled!! He got to go shopping and to the zoo then Toys-R-Us. He also got to eat at Taco Cabana (my fav) 4 times while they were here. They have awesome shakes. I think he enjoyed playing with them the most. Janet could spend all day just playing with him. He was very entertaining while they were here. He likes an audience to show off for as long as it is a very small audience. Thanks so much for coming!! We miss y'all and love y'all!!!!!!

For the 4th we put of the pancake breakfast of the ward in the morning. Sis. Shannon makes the best pancake mix then all the men cooked them. It was awesome. Since I am now in charge of Ward Activities if anyone has any ideas feel free to share! It was a great turn out and we had lots of fun. Then Britni threw Jack's Birthday party because she has family in town too. The kids enjoyed eating, swimming and a pinata. It was tons of fun! Happy Birthday Jack!!!

Needless to say we have been GOING GOING GOING!! We have one more trip to Utah next week (super excited!!) and then I believe we are done for a while. I would say i'll try to do better posting but then it would probably be a lie.
