Last Wednesday we left for Georgia to go see Nick's parents for Thanksgiving. It was a much needed vacation for Nick, so we were way excited to go. Wednesday when we got there we hung out at the house with Adam and Janet until Brent and Cassie came home. Cassie's brakes went out on her car and she had to run off onto the curb, but she's ok thank goodness.
Thanksgiving was wonderful with fabulous food. I have so much to be thankful for I don't even know where to begin. I am most thankful for my family though, including parents, siblings, and in-laws. Noah has been an absolute blessing to Nick and I and we are unbelievably thankful for him and his sweet spirit. Nick is the most amazing man and can conquer anything and I am so thankful for him.
Friday Janet and I went on a shopping spree!! SO much fun! We got up at 4 a.m. and headed to our first store, Wal-mart. It was crazy!!! There were so many people there I didn't know how to control myself very well. You should have seen me, I was so jittery. I wanted to beat everyone to all the good deals even if I didn't need it! We got what we needed there and a little more and found the most amazing deals. Then we headed to the mall, found some more great deals and went home to get refreshed, pick up the boys and headed back out. It was a fun filled day of shopping and Noah was so wonderful through the whole thing.
Saturday we got up and had breakfast with Russ and Sarah, friends that Nick grew up with. I love them!! They are so nice and so much fun to be around. Afterwards Brent and Nick went to the driving range and Janet and I found a salon to get our hair done at. We had so much fun getting our hair done and had the best shampooist in the world wash our hair. It was amazing!! I colored mine a dark brown and even cut bang, but he cut them too short for my liking so I'm excited for them to get a little longer. I have a calick that gets in the way of them doing the proper thing. Janet got a really cute cut and put lo-lites in her hair. It was so much fun hanging out and having a girls day.
Sunday after church Nick and I made Cafe Rio salads for the family(our fav) and then headed for our plane ride home. We had a blast in Georgia and were really sad to leave. Thanks Bailey's for having us, we can't wait to come back again. I'll post pictures when I figure out how to download stuff onto the computer from my video camera.
