Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 2nd Anniversary. A lot has happened in 2 years. We graduated from school, moved to San Antonio, started new jobs, got pregnant, quite a new job, bought a house, and had a baby. There are many more things that have happened but those are the big ones. I have enjoyed all of it. I couldn't have done it without Nick. He is the perfect husband and father. I am so excited to spend many more years with him.

We went to Corpus Christi this past weekend for our Anniversary. It was Noah's first vacation, and I think he really enjoyed it. We did lots of fun things.

Friday night we checked into our hotel, then went to Water Street Seafood Co. It was delicious and I recommend it if anyone is ever down there. After dinner we took a walk on the beach. Noah loves being in his carrier and he loves the warm weather, so he fell right to sleep.

Saturday was a fun filled day. We got up early and went to the Aquarium. I had tons of fun there because there weren't many people and since it isn't too large you get to be close to all the animals. The dolphin show was of course my favorite, but they also had a bird show that was pretty cool as well. I had never seen a bird show before. I can't believe they can get birds to do some of the things they did. Noah really enjoyed the fish. He just starred at them swimming. It was so cute to watch him as he noticed all his new surroundings. After the Aquarium we went to the Art Museum. It had a really cool Cowboy photo exhibit which Nick and I really liked. We didn't spend much time there though because Noah started crying and it echoed through the whole place. We went to Aransas Pass and looked around after the art museum and then went back to the hotel so Noah and Nick could nap. I enjoyed the beach and a book as they napped. When they got up we went to eat at Joe's Crab shack which was amazing and then went to a Hook's game at Whataburger Field. We sat out in the outfield on grass. It was such a beautiful night. The weather was perfect and the game was tons of fun. The Hook's are affiliated with the Astro's just in case anyone was wandering.

Sunday Nick and Noah got up early and enjoyed another walk on the beach while I packed up everything. We had a not so great breakfast at the hotel restaurant and then went and took pictures of things that we wanted to remember. Sunday was supposed to be our fishing day and we had everything ready for the great day, but we couldn't find a place suitable for Noah to be. Instead we bought a kite and flew it for a while then went and ate at Catfish Charlie's. I love Catfish!

It was a really great weekend and we all enjoyed it so much. I am pretty sure we wore Noah out though because he went to bed at 9 last night and didn't get up till 8 this morning. He has been sleeping all day as well.
